Project 365: Day 22

Rubicube, originally uploaded by Heidi Meintjes.
I looked everywhere today (not that I've been a lot of places seeing it's month end) for a nice shape or pattern to take a photo of but I battled. Then tonight we were sitting in the lounge waiting for the estate agent when I picked up the Rubicube and I immediately knew that my search was over.

I've had a love/hate relationship with the rubicube forever! I started playing with it in Primary school and finally in Std 7 (Grade 9) I figured it out and I could solve it within a minute (can't remember the exact stats). But as with most things as soon as I solved it I lost interest and now years later I picked it up again and I know myself, I won't rest until I can solve the puzzle again. I can tell you though that it might take longer this time, my brain is not as sharp as it used to be - with today's technology I really think we neglect exercising our thinking caps! Maybe one day you'll see a wrinkled old lady sitting on a bench in the park trying to solve this - it will be me.

Thanks for your comment on my post! It's great to hear from you :)

You've taken some great photos so far in your 365 project, and I especially love the vibrance of the colours in this photo - they really pop. Now hopefully you can solve it fast enough that you'll have time to take a photo for tomorrow!

Enjoy! We went to a robotics exhibition not so long ago and they had a robot that could solve it in seconds! My kids were tickled pink!
I love the colours in your photo!
